The gown
The Princess wears a pink satin gown tied with ribbons and bows and a delicate silver tiara, against a soft background of pale pink roses. It is the lightest and sweetest of the six, painted in the powdery colors of an eighteenth-century boudoir portrait.
Where the uniforms are all gold and shadow, the Princess is daylight: pale, bright and a little bit spoiled.
Who it suits
For the small and the adored: Maltese, Pomeranians, Yorkies, doodles, Frenchies, and kittens of every age. If your pet has ever been carried in a bag, this is the one.
White, cream, apricot, grey and black coats all sit well next to the soft pinks. Young animals move a lot, so take a few photos and send the sharpest.

Questions about The Princess
Is The Princess only for small dogs?
No. Every portrait is head and shoulders, so a Great Dane wears the tiara as easily as a Maltese.
Can I use a photo of a puppy or a kitten?
Yes, as long as the face is sharp and looks toward the camera. Young animals move a lot: take a few photos and send the clearest.
Will the pink clash with my pet’s coloring?
The Princess is painted in soft pinks and silver, which sit well next to white, cream, apricot, grey and black coats. See your preview first: it costs nothing.
Does my pet’s name appear on the canvas?
No. The name you type appears on the wall label next to your preview, as a museum would caption it. The canvas carries the portrait only.
Does the canvas come framed?
It comes stretched over solid wood bars, 1.25 in deep, with the picture mirrored around the edges and a sawtooth hanger attached. It needs no frame: one nail and it is up.
How long does delivery take?
Printing takes 2 to 3 business days, and US delivery 1 to 5 business days after that. You get a tracking link by email when your canvas ships. Digital files are ready to download right after payment.
Can I return my portrait?
Each portrait is made for one pet, so we can’t take returns for a change of mind. If your canvas arrives damaged or misprinted, email us a photo within 14 days and we will reprint it free.
