The Queen pet portrait

A custom royal portrait of your cat or dog as a queen: burgundy velvet embroidered with gold, a wide collar of white lace, a rope of pearls and a small crown set with red roses. Upload one photo and see yours before you pay.
Canvas from $54.95, US shipping included.
The robes
The Queen wears a burgundy velvet gown embroidered in gold, a wide collar of white lace, a pearl necklace and a small gold crown set with red roses. The standing lace collar belongs to the courts of the late 1500s and early 1600s, when collars were starched and set with heated irons before a sitter could face the painter.
The background is a deep burgundy, a shade darker than the gown, which lets the lace and the face come forward.
Who it suits
For cats, obviously. Also for the dog who takes the good chair, eats on her own schedule and expects doors to be opened.
White, cream and silver coats look especially fine against the burgundy, and the lace collar frames a round face beautifully. He can be a Queen too: titles are honorary.

Questions about The Queen
Is The Queen only for cats?
No. The Queen is painted for any pet: cats, dogs, rabbits. Our sample shows a white longhair cat.
What is the difference between The Queen and The Duchess?
The Queen is warm: burgundy velvet, gold embroidery and a crown of roses. The Duchess is cool: midnight blue velvet, a pleated ruff, pearls and a jewelled cap.
My pet is male. Can he be The Queen?
He can be anything he likes. If you would rather keep things traditional, The General, The Admiral and The Colonel are in uniform.
Does my pet’s name appear on the canvas?
No. The name you type appears on the wall label next to your preview, as a museum would caption it. The canvas carries the portrait only.
Does the canvas come framed?
It comes stretched over solid wood bars, 1.25 in deep, with the picture mirrored around the edges and a sawtooth hanger attached. It needs no frame: one nail and it is up.
How long does delivery take?
Printing takes 2 to 3 business days, and US delivery 1 to 5 business days after that. You get a tracking link by email when your canvas ships. Digital files are ready to download right after payment.
Can I return my portrait?
Each portrait is made for one pet, so we can’t take returns for a change of mind. If your canvas arrives damaged or misprinted, email us a photo within 14 days and we will reprint it free.
Every other answer is on the questions page.
